When I was born on December 1971,my parents probably didn´t know that their new memeber of their family wasn´t a lovely girl but future cynologist "element".Since my early childhood I emphatically set on example of my dissatisfaction about a case that in our family isn´t a dog.Then wen my parents understood that for my lucky beside them and my older sisiters I need another thing they tried to imposture me - at first by a drake Donald,kittens,rabbits and kid at my grand mum and by occasional driving on a little donkey.

 

 

These transparent and fortunately temporary activites my child´s soul apparent couldn´t be satisfied with.However I had to endure since I was ten years old and those days we traveled to Libya where packs of wild dogs were and where I have a lot of free time....Dog´s mums been very tolerant to our child´s group (It was because we had some food for them,which we stole from our home fridge...) They let us to crawl to their underground whole raken up in hard sand and play with their puppies.

 

When arrived to Prague I was already eleven years old so my arguments supported by cynologist practice from abroad were more important.In addition my sisters added to my never - ending pressing,so at last cocker Rony has became like a member to our family (but still I have a suspicion that great impression on them did my menace that I will move to the dog´s shelter if they won´t buy dog to me,but the end justifies the means..:-))))))))

 

Time by time he comprehensibly became to be a leader of the pack and us - children he didn´t notice,but it didn´t defend in a discrete loving him.He prepared a lot of hard moments.He was still showing on the bigger dogs,he ran after everything what was alive inclusive sparrows and wasps,which he was brilliantly bitting in the air,he ate what he found,he rolled around everything what had so bad smell and in the time we were in the cottage he was periodicity carrying hens and ducks bite to death.So it was too fun with a little Ron......

 

Our relationship went trought mild crisis when he firstly bite our my arm....however,what wouldn´t person forgive to that chocolate eyes,you know...namely he did it again two years later,but didn´t conceive hatred for him nor for other dogs (after all everything is recovering fast to children and all bad is good for something - at last I didn´t have to write 14 days any written exams..:-)))     )
Unfortunatelly not only a men grow old and I won´t forgot for that thirteen years,which we live throught alltogether.
Little Ron died in 1997.

 

Already in 1995,when I ran out from my birthplace,we decided with my "men´s counterpart! that we will buy a doggy.Our choice at first was to buy cocker spaniel again but then we once saw a english springer spaniel in the park an it was decided - we started to know all about this breed and early we knew taht it´s dog brought into existence for us with exterier and behavior.On the end of August 1996 we bought a little Dany home.
Wenny doggy,which was only one boy from nine puppies,was early recovered from "army",which was every day prepared by his more active sisiters.It was maybe because he started to lick bottles from beer....:-)

 

Already 14 days after taking we went for ten days holiday with a group of watermen - he learned there swimming,camp in a tents,in evenings stay near by fire place or in a case of bad weather in a pub - absolutely everything,what well - socialized dog need to life.(To this socialization we have to count unlearning Danny´s inclination to alcohol,which culminate with an overturn and using up a bottle of egg´s liquire.After experience was a little doggy sleeping all the night and day,when we were looking after "dog´s short-term rehabilitation centre for didorderly alcoholics...:-)))) )

 

When was little Dany one year old,we decided to buy him friend - what other way than springer-spaniel.After longer demanding we foun an advertisement of breeder stock from Obří důl and we immediatelywent to a chose one dog.One hour planned visiting in Pec pod Sněžkou became three-hour way,becuase there were five doggies and each was amazing of course.At last we narrowed our choice for a three doggies,because we wanted to have a doggy more spotted and if it´s possible (in future) bigger than dany.Some angulations,front chest,lenght of ears,depth of chest - about these things we haven´t known yet,so we have at last chosen Nik (Ajax) because he had most beatiful blaze.

When we bgought Nik after last three weeks to home,little Dany at first didn´t want to believe his own eyes,which SOMETHING LIKE THIS will be living with them,but already at night he has found that it´s fun with this little doggie.Unfortunately their most popular fun was at first running in the flat.When was Nik running under beds,Danny which couldn´t fit there running ACROSS the bed.If adult springer spaniel jumps on your stomach in the middle night it´s almost experience but it was worse for me when I stepped on some whistling monster which they got on my way.This sound with my consternation shouting almost both rebels made more active and in assumtion that their lady want to play with them,one of them hung on my legs and the second hung on my night dress.I lost my balance of course and I was staggering around the room in desperate anxiety to find a switch and get off both piranhas.
The thing we were stepping on other whistling monsters I don´t have to add.I haven´t understood since these days (it is not fair for me),that this night rodeo let their master sleep well!!! (he woke up only once,when raged dogs threw dawn stepladder on his had prepared for painting to the second day but he only asked as: "What silly things are you doing?" and felt to sleep again - I have a supicion that his brain had a shock...:-))))))  )
The fact is that with two springer spaniels is double fun.We enjoyed a lot of altogether because we - masters are very crazy too......

 

 

Fortunately here in Prague are similar crazy people more,some of them have near relatives.....

 

When was Nik two years odl,we plucked up one´s courage and visited the first exhibition.We got a title of res.CAC so we went on exhibition and last Nik got a title of Czech champion.Than we composed autumn and bloodhounds trial.DKK examps were good too our AJAX Z OBŘÍHO DOLU became a BREEDING DOG!! he had to wait on his bride a little time but a last he became twice father (one boy and three girls from Lipové Doliny and three boys from Vosáhlův Dvůr).We visited them sometimes.When remained in baskets last bitch Sydney we discussed with a breeder that we will borrow her sometimes for a "spoiling" on weekend......

 

Sydney was "borrowed" only once...in October 2001 we took her into car an went to a cottage on the weekend holiday,which we wanted to put together with a visit of exhibition in České Budějovice (we didn´t wen for a showing our dog we went there like a fans).Our bitch became a clever and a lovely puppy so when we were giving back her to his breeder on Sunday and she was looking wire - netting at last I was decided don´t leave her there.

Regarding to time for persuasion of master shrank from supposing week to 24 hours (he was from this springer spaniels girl too soft),so still on Monday in the afternoon she was in our home - accurately in day of her four  month´s birthday......When she arrived she sovereignty looked around the room and evidently happy she deposited her to boys to their lair - of course only for the time,when little dany and nik showed her where she relaxes right....

I must concede that although I was never satisfied about intelligence of Dany and Nik,Sherry (we recalled her for this name) surprised me a lot.As really "woman" she combine her intelligence with a foxy behavior and in some cases with not quiltless view too.In addition she has comprehensibly the best teachers,so every bad things which learnt those two years during their live she learnt (unfortunately for us..) after some days....One except was swimming in the beginning.Although she ran to water in every time,but when she lost fast earth under pads,she took her back legs off the water while she was despairly smacking with her front legs,her back side of body slowly sank to the bottom.She always looked as small sank little steamship (of course nickname "Titanic" was very used in those times...).This season took one week,than she took another method - she slowly went to the water so a long time while she left whole under water.When she did it at first I was surprised how is her white blaze continually absenting off from surface...at the moment when she was without air or when water sqeezed her out,she emerged with a big bubbling and she went to the coast like Titanic.Unfortunately her steamship took only little time,now days she jumped to the water by head and she swam like a fish and I already don´t stay on the coast prepared to taky off my clothes and went to help her...

The next - only Sherrinka´s special is watching television attentive and beginning during the rode of car always observation of buttoned windscreen up - boys were sleeping on the back seat and she sat in the middle,stare saw to front glass and swung in rythm of windscreen like a cobra.Now it isn´t so attractive for her,unfortunatelly.Sherinka in this time doesn´t look like typical Springer spaniel so we nickname her Šerka-příšerka (příšeka = monster) with love,but we hope that she will be little bit like her father at least,who also looked year and half like giraffe crossbreed with a camel and the end he is almost beatuful boy....(right,Sherry even took elsewhere a part of dinosaurus and the Chinese naked fellow..:-))) ).

Sherry has been on her first exhibition (and she doesn´t go so badly,she has received CAJC title even),roentgen of hips (result B/C),in this ayear we will try the exam from achievement....and then we will start to guard a proper bridegroom...:-))))))

Unfortunately,2004 was very sad for us.We successfully participated in several exhibitions with our dear Sherry,passed successfully the FIELD TRIA,and then started looking around for same handsome dog bridegroom.Our hopes regarding puppies,however,failed after Sherryˇs forced castration (severe uteritis) in January 2004 - but,bad luck,it was not by far the worst.Gradually,epileptic seizures begun to occur in our dear Sherry and despite the intensive treatment,her heart was not strong enough to standthe series of the last severe episodes- she died in our arms in the morning of 1.5.2004...

But we started to miss the "female element" very soon.And thus our internet search for a suitable puppy began.Finally,on August 13th, a brown/white female EXPRESS YOUR SELF.Eny was brought from the Swedish kennel WOODNOB.
The little Eny has grown up into a beatiful young dog lady with an excellent character,and we hope that when the time comes and we will find a correct bridegroom for her,she will become a founder of our breed of English Springer Spaniels...
